Zhangqiu district has been labeled a city of poetry charm, a famous historical and cultural city, a garden city full of
modern atmosphere and an industrial city which has gained upside momentum for economic development and is rising
at an accelerating pace.
"This year, we will focus on building the sub-center of provincial capital, give priority to development, and strengthen
industrial support, with emphasis on upgrading the leading industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, high-end
chemical and new materials, biomedicine, information technology, food and beverage, and cultural tourism. We will highlight
the innovation-driven strategy, striving to build the scientific and technological innovations corridor alongEast Jingshi Road
and the central active region of provincial capitals cluster. We will pay attention to the improvement of quality and function,
and further integrate into the development pattern of provincial capitals in an all-round way, building a modern garden city and
famous historical and cultural city,” Han Wei, district governor of Zhangqiu District People's Government, says in Report on the
