In 2018, Changqing district’s average per capita disposable income grew 8.6 percent year on year to 28,621 yuan, higher
than that compared to the rest of Jinan. The average urban residents’ per capita disposable income reached 39,250 yuan, up
8.3 percent, taking the top spot in the city, while that of rural residents rose 8.3 percent to 17,755 yuan, ranking second in
the city. In terms of urban and rural residents' disposable income, Changqing district has outperformed the city’s average in two
successive years since 2017.
In Changqing district, horizons expand as traffic and transportation has been significantly broadened; countless rows of buildings
have been erected, increasing people's feeling of happiness and well-being; parks have been created delicately as a highlight of the
charming new city; skies are transparent blue relying on continuous environmental improvement. A scroll painting with the particular
charm of the rural landscape is unfolding. Changqing district has devoted concrete efforts to sustain and promote the rising sense of
happiness of the masses. The plan of “achieving an earthshaking development in three years” of Changqing district has promised a
bright prospect.
