The modern, bustling scenes of Jinan CBD
High-rise buildings symbolize the accomplishment of urban development, represent the level of urbanization of a
region, and become a carrier for the modern economy. The gathering of high-rises exemplify the change and progress
of core economic factors, such as taxation, science and technology, industry, finance and so on.
According to statistics, there are nearly 30 high-rise buildings at the height of over 200 meters built up or under construction
in Jinan. Among them, 14 are situated in the CBD region.
Five super high-rise buildings that reflect specific characteristics of Jinan with the integration of “mountain, spring, lake,
river and city” have attracted much attention. At present, 428-meter-high International Financial Center, 360-meter-high Ping An
International Finance Center, 330-meter-high CITIC Pacific Properties Jinan Honor, 260-meter-high Forte International Financial
Center and 230-meter-high China Resources Landmark are under construction. The mushroom growth of skyscrapers will help
generate more tax revenue in Jinan CBD.
