County has been exploring and implementing the “rose point-earning project”. It has materialized and quantified the initiatives of poverty-
stricken population and the results of overcoming poverty, in order to enlighten and inspire their trust, desire and confidence in the anti-
poverty programs.
With the positive effect of the “rose point-earning project”, towns and streets in Pingyin took multiple forms - for instance, "poverty alleviation
by order"launched in Kongcun town, “point-earning supermarket” and “poverty alleviation mutual assistance group” in Meigui town, “nursing care
for the elderly funds” in Yushan sub-district, and “loving care clothing store”, and etc.
Nowadays, Pingyin County has carried out a top-level, all-round design for the poverty alleviation and intellectual support project, covering all
aspects of poverty from the connotation to the extension, the model to method, and the cadres to the masses. It’s a guideline on winning the battle
against poverty for Pingyin County.
