In May 2018, the city of Jinan issued an order to mobilize strengths for urban upgrading, putting forward that “we will
unfold a vigorous campaign for urban upgrading and consolidate the fruitful achievements of building National Civilized
City, implementing urban management through a more elaborate way, creating a more elegant environment and enhancing
the well-being of the people”. Relying on a series of activities centered on urban upgrading, the temperament of the city and the
quality of life is constantly improving, so that residents in Jinan can appreciate a sense of poetry and future in their hometown.
