President Xi Jinping mentioned Sanjianxi Village in Jinan City in Shandong Province, when he delivered a New Year speech on the eve of
the year 2019.
“I’ll never forget, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPC Xi Jinping sat down with my family to hear about our day-
to-day lives”, Zhao Shunli said. His family has seen a lot of significant changes in 2018. He added: “Top of my new year resolution list is to contract a
booth selling local specialties in the food court of the village, in order to spread Zhangqiu culture with its own characteristics to a wider range of people.”
