The city of Jinan has enjoyed a rapid development in 2018. It has continuously improved the quality and efficiency of economic
development, vigorously boosted innovation-driven growth, and significantly promoted the image of the city.
Measures have been put in place to secure a steady and sustainable growth in 2019. At the end of 2018, Wang Zhonglin, member of
the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, presented an overall
strategy at the theory-discussing meeting for administrative work of Jinan, in order to push ahead with the “1+474” working system. On January 7,
2019, the Economic Working Conference of Jinan City and the Conference for Promoting the Construction of “Four Centers” was held, in which
the economic works of Jinan in 2019 were arranged, and the letters for taking on the responsibilities of the annual major tasks concerning the “four
centers” construction, “seven tough battles” and “four bottom lines” were signed.
Focusing on the well-defined goals, Jinan city expects to further solidifies its leading position in the economic development of Shandong
province in 2019.
