The construction of Jinan International Inland Port has fostered new growth drivers
for the city’s development.
International inland ports have significant functions and an
important role to play in accelerating the establishment of Jinan
Prior Zone For Replacing Old Growth Drivers With New Ones,
a regional logistics center, a new and comprehensive system of open
economy and a national central city. With the opening of the China-
Europe Railway Express and the proposal of setting up a “national
prior zone for intelligent logistics innovation”, the construction of
the logistic center of Jinan will make major breakthroughs at high
levels. In the future, the international inland port will make up for the
shortcomings that Jinan has in developing export-oriented economy,
and help foster new growth drivers for urban development of Jinan.
