There are bright prospects for the construction of Jinan International Inland Port.
The International Inland Port is a pivot point to fulfill the aspiration of Jinan for building a state-level regional logistics
center. Taking advantage of the inland port, Jinan will gain greater confidence and better prospects for “going global”,
and it will conduct the “inviting in” policy with firm and steady steps.
According to Ge Jintian, Jinan has enjoyed the foundation and satisfied the conditions for establishing regional logistics
center. The city should pay attention to speeding up the establishment of international inland port from six aspects - It should
make the plans with high standards and from a high starting point. It should seize the opportunity to build and perfect the
promotion mechanism. It should accelerate the reallocation and improve the functions of Jinan Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
It should quicken its step in formulating the layout of industry and strengthening the support for local logistics enterprises. It
should take the initiative to start the construction of the high-end centralized logistics cluster in Dongjia subdistrict, making
the cluster a center in the province which China-Europe Railway Express converge. It should pay special attention to enhance
regional cooperation with the demonstration area in Qingdao for China-SCO local economic and trade cooperation.
