According to its planned scope, Airport Economic Zone borders G308 national road in the north, Jinan-Qingdao
expressway in the south, the Yellow River in the west, and Guihua Road in the east. It has a total area of 148 square
kilometers and governs 86 villages. Including the airport, the economic zone highlights the role of the airport that acts as
a portal, and gives full play to export-oriented economy, striving to set up an international, high-end and modern system
for industrial development. It is not only a region that develops cooperatively with Jinan Prior Zone for Replacing Old
Growth Drivers with New Ones, but also a core area that is crucial for the construction of the inland port.
