What is the significance of the rail transit that only takes 90 minutes from Beijing to Changqing?
On December 25, 2018, Changqing district hosted a pitch meeting named “a new era of rail transit, a charming new Changqing”
for the introduction of investments in Beijing. Ten projects with a total contract value of CNY 15.5 billion were signed at the
conference, indicating that Changqing has produced fruitful results in participating in the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei
and creating a new highland for high-quality development.
Great momentum and a healthy influx of investment have given fresh impetus to Changqing’s economic development.
Wang Qinguang, secretary of the CPC Changqing District Committee, listed five aspects of development advantages - Changqing has a long
history and profound cultural heritage, realizes integrated and coordinated development with surrounding regions by virtue of convenient traffic and
transportation, gears entrepreneurship through providing considerate service and win-win cooperation, nourishes innovation-driven economy with
the strength of science and education, and receives strong support of productive industries and shows abundant vitality. Changqing, a thousand-
year-old city, is now on a fast track of development and is full of vim and promise for entrepreneurship.
