People have seen an earthshaking development taking place in the western new district since the construction
Tof Jinan Medical Center (JMC) started. Neatly arranged, brightly colored resettlement housings have been
built up. Wide roads that completely separate pedestrians and vehicles are under construction at a fast pace.
Convenient transport service will be provided with the opening of rail transit line 1. The kindergarten, primary
school and junior high school have already broken ground to enable children across all age groups and
education levels to enjoy handy education resources.
In the early stage of design and planning, JMC has made ensuring and improving people's
wellbeing the starting point and goal of its work, giving entire priority to the construction
of supporting facilities that help achieve a more prosperous and happy living
environment for its citizens. Displacement and resettlement works have been
carried out in an open and transparent way for the immediate interests of
reallocated households. The first phase of half-million-square-metre
resettlement houses were put into use in September this year.
At the end of August, five roads including Jiqi Road, North-
South No. 3 Road and Dezhou Road started construction
