As of September 2017, Lixia District introduced a total investment of 8.994 billion yuan from outside the city
and took the lead in completing the annual program objectives in the city a quarter ahead of schedule, accounting
for 101.86% of the annual target, notching up growth of 54.24%. As of October, the district introduced one company that
was worth over 10 billion yuan, 11 companies that were worth over 1 billion yuan, 88 companies that were worth 1 to 10
billion yuan and 180 companies that were worth 50 to 100 million yuan.
There are adequate reasons for companies and projects to regard Lixia District as their stage.
It has advantageous locations. With a large reserve of resources, Lixia District as the core functioning area of the
provincial capital is now in a more prominent position. Provincial and municipal government organizations, scientific
research institutes, headquarters enterprises and cultural institutions converged on the district, bringing along a prime source
of growth.
It has a convenient means of traffic and transportation. It takes 30 minutes to arrive at the international airport and high-
speed rail station and 15 minutes to the expressways. The rail transit currently under construction will run through Jinan City
and directly connect Lixia District with Beijing, Tianjin and Yangtze River Delta region upon completion.
It has a rich reserve of talents. Full of vigor and vitality, Lixia District is a cradle of brilliant talents, up-and-coming
innovations and active developments, which has become the most densely populated region of high-level industries.
It has an atmosphere of modernization. Lixia District ranked first in the quantity and quality of hotels and business’s
supporting infrastructures.
It has exerted the utmost strength. Lixia District has given top priority for the improvement of people’s livelihood and
provided enterprises with a favorable business environment.
