the mountain surrounding the city is reflected on the surface of the vast lake.” - The famous poem by Liu Fenghao illustrated a
blossoming scene of lotus in Daming Lake.
The annual Jinan Lotus Festival kicked off when it’s time to admire the beauty of lotus. The invitation was issued by Daming
Lake where visitors can enjoy an endless stretch of lotus leaves, the smell and charm of lotus flowers, a bite of sweet cakes and
snacks made of lotus and a taste of refreshing lotus leaf tea. It’s wonderful to spent summer days in such a way.
